A safe performance, on and off the stage

The Allen Performing Arts Center is excited to welcome you back to our venues. The safety of our audiences, performers and staff is our utmost priority. We have put in place a number of new measures as part of our COVID-safe reopening plan, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.


What we ask of you

Masks required at all times

Face masks are to be worn over the nose and mouth at all times in all public areas of the venue in accordance with state and county regulations.

Stay home if you think you might be sick

Know the symptoms of COVID-19. If you have any of the symptoms related to COVID-19: fever, chills, dry cough, shortness of breath, and muscles/body aches, please stay home.

Social distance

For your safety and the safety of others, please maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and other visitors at all times.

Avoid congregating

To limit lobby occupancy, please avoid arriving before the scheduled audience seating time to avoid congregating in the lobby. After the performance please meet your performer outside the building.

Utilize contactless payments

In person box office will not be provided and tickets will not be sold at the door. Please purchase tickets in advance online to allow for a contactless ticket experience. If you need assistance, please contact tickets@allenpac.org.

No food/drink allowed inside the performance hall

To prevent the spread of germs, water fountains in the venue are not available. Self provided bottled water is permitted inside the performance hall.

What you can expect from us

Healthy team members (daily temperature checks)

Our staff members self-screen for any COVID-19 symptoms or potential exposure to COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Staff members who present any syptoms or are exposed are required to quaratine before returning to work.

Clean facilities (audience seats disinfected after each event)

Before each performance, our team sanitizes the audience seating area with a disinfecting solution. This solution has been approved by the CDC to disinfect areas potentially exposed to COVID-19.

Social distancing (reconfigured layouts)

Seating has been reconfigured to support social distancing. Seats will be closed between each set of guest to provide six feet of spacing between parties. Please do not sit in any seats indicated to be closed for reservations or social distancing.

Protective Equipment (masks on every team member)

Our staff is dedicated to keeping you safe by wearing face masks at all times. Other PPE equipment such as gloves and a faceshield are used in addition, when appropriate, to prevent the spread of germs.


If you, or anyone in your household or support bubble is feeling unwell or has displayed any symptoms of COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to your visit, please stay at home and follow health guidelines.
